Virtual Stunt Groups
In light of the COVID 19 pandemic and in an effort to provide all athletes the opportunity to compete, we have opted to include Stunt Groups for this year ONLY. Stunt Groups will operate in the following manner:
-
Stunt Group Entry Fee: $100 per Stunt Group
-
**VERY IMPORTANT**: This division was created to help our teams facing the very real possibility of not being able to safely learn and perform a routine in the allotted amount of time given for their season. The following registration restrictions apply:
-
You may ONLY register for Stunt Groups if you are NOT competing in either of the routine categories, meaning Game Day and/or Performance Divisions
-
All Stunt Groups require their own registration and the fee applies to each stunt group.
-
The same safety rules, submission date and filming requirements apply to Stunt Groups.
-
This will NOT be considered a State Title.
-
Groups will strive to receive the following rating: (Click here for score sheet)
-
Gold Level of Excellence: 45 - 50 total points
-
Silver Level of Excellence: 39 - 44 total points
-
Bronze Level of Excellence: 33 - 38 total point
-
All members of a particular group scoring in one of the above listed ranges will receive a corresponding medal.
-
Groups that fail to score at least 33 or more points will not receive a Level of Excellence Award.
-
Groups will NOT be competing against each other and they will NOT be competing for the standard 1st, 2nd, or 3rd places. There will be no ranking list of Stunt Groups.
Stunt Group Guidelines:
-
No more than 5 athletes per stunt group submission
-
All athletes that begin with the "group" must remain with AND end with the stunt "group" throughout the entire routine
-
You may not swap athletes in and out of the "group" once the routine has begun
-
All athletes are not required to perform all skills BUT they are to remain in the frame at all times
* Example: 4 perform a switch-up and 3 perform a single base and 5 perform a toss. Athletes not performing the skill must remain in frame.
-
Tosses are not required but will be scored in the "Overall" category if performed
-
Groups MUST perform at least 1 Stand-Alone sequence with an entry and dismount
-
Routines can NOT exceed 90 seconds in length
-
You are free to use any music selection of your choice
